Mini Holiday Look book

One thing I look forward to every year is dressing up for the holidays. Since festivities will look quite different this year, I wanted to put together a mini look book showcasing two outfits that would be perfect for Christmas and New Year’s Eve.

This gorgeous Badgley Miscka sequin suit literally screams holiday glam. The thing I like most about this look is that I scored it for a fraction of the price. How you ask? By renting it of course!

I found this beauty on Rent The Runway. If you’re not familiar with them, they are a fashion service that allows you to rent designer clothing for any occasion. You have the option of becoming a member of their subscription service or renting each piece a la carte. They have tons of clothing and accessories to choose from and they’re size inclusive so all my curvy girls can utilize this service as well.

Each item is professionally cleaned and sanitized after each use and when its time return your items, you can either drop it off at their flagship location in NYC or mail it back with the return label included with your order. How simple is that?!

This next look is perfect for any Christmas gathering. To be honest, it’s the blazer for me! It’s a classic print that never goes out of style. Whether you’re celebrating via Zoom or in person, this is one piece that will let everyone know you’re all about Christmas cheer!

As a blazer lover, I was so happy when I saw it on the Venus website. The styling options are endless! I kept it simple and paired the blazer with a white collared shirt, black skinny jeans, and boots but trust me, there’s many ways to wear it.

For instance, this blazer paired with a black turtleneck, pencil skirt, some killer heels, and a long gold necklace would be super chic. You could also swap out the separates and wear a dress underneath. The possibilities are endless.

However you’re celebrating the holidays this year, please be safe. With COVID-19 still being a major part of our reality, I encourage you all to follow the CDC guidelines if gathering in person. Remember, safety is ALWAYS in style!

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and prosperous New Year!
